Why Can't We all Get Along? (see story)
I'm continually baffled by the objection to same sex marriage. Would someone please explain, rationally, how same sex marriage effects heterosex marriage? Honestly! If Joseph and Mary are wed, no biggy and we'll call them couple A. Mark and Matthew get married and we'll call them couple B. Couple A are happily married have children, la-de-da. Couple B are happily married and possibly adopt children, la-de-da. Now, seriously where is the problem? How does Couple B and their marriage, their family have any effect on what happens to Couple A?

Anti-Same-Sex Marriage folks must be making the assumption that: Homosexuality is a choice. Fact: Homosexuals have more media coverage, in the form of dramatic, comedy, and reality series than latino or asian minority groups combined. A rational thread must be sewn as follows: legitimizing homosexuality with the institution of marriage will increase the incidence of homosexuality. Then what? Are they afraid that legalizing same-sex marriage will make heterosex marriage obsolete? With gay marriage there won't be any time for heteros?

Some 2000 plus years ago, homosexuality was a popular thing. Greeks and Romans seemed to think it was alright, but isn't it ironic that their passion for homosexuality didn't preclude the continuation of their culture or the preservation of the species?

I submit that homosexuality is not a choice, just like heterosexuality is not a choice. Let the people get married!
