And these people have too much time!
Animal rights activists must be rich people with nothing better to do. So people make a candy in the shape of "roadkilled" animals. Naturally, the activists must jump to the rescue. The logic most follow that if there is a candy, you must be in favor of the accidental killing of animals. Let's think for a moment. Well obviously a candy, which has no animal products in it, except for its misshapen form promotes the maltreatment of animals. Yes! Much more so than the daily, intentional slaughter of animals for the specific consumption by humans.

Are these people so bored? While I won't argue that there is animal abuse and animal cruelty and that the "light" of public scrutiny must be shone upon it. I will argue that there are more important things to do than pursue candy manufacturers. Time and energy can be better spent upon more pressing matters within the realm of preventing animal abuse.

Naturally we shouldn't be making candy in the shape of hamburgers or pork chops or we'll have those Animal Rights Activists knocking on our door. I mean, heck we probably should have Boca Burgers in the shape of burgers.
