Cookie Time!

It's Girl Scout Cookie Time!

UPDATE 3/6/2016 - SHE MADE IT!!! As of yesterday, 3/5/2016, K had sold 1270 boxes of cookies. Camp Catalina here she comes!!! We still have 40ish boxes of cookies at home (which are covered by ICares, so we don't "have" to sell them, but we'll still try, it's money for the troop), and she'll still work booths this week to help her sister girl scouts in her troop try to meet their goals. Her new goal is to make it to 1400 by 3/13 (last day of the sale). It doesn't come with any additional prize, but it does mean she'd get the "I sold over 1400 boxes" patch instead of the "I sold over 1200 boxes"patch. It's something to keep her motivated at those long booths this week.

To everyone who bought cookies from her during these last 50 days, THANK YOU!!! She is one very happy, very proud, very excited, and very tired, little girl.

K has been hard at work selling cookies for the past 4.5 weeks. There are only 20 days left in the sale!

So far, K has sold 914 boxes of cookies (871 actual boxes and 43 ICare boxes that will go to Operation: Gratitude).

UPDATE 2/29/2016 - With 13 days remaining in the sale, K has now sold 1,145 boxes of cookies (1043 actual boxes and 102 ICares).

Her goal is 1250 boxes of cookies, which means she needs to sell an average of 18 boxes of cookies every day from now until the end of the sale to meet it.

We are so proud of how hard she works. She works cookie booths 4-5 days each week and takes cookies to school every day (to walkabout to the teachers after school). She has done walkabouts in the rain and booths in both rain and in wind so strong it was blowing the booth down. It's a lot for an 8 year old, but she handles it with aplomb.

If you want more cookies, between now and March 13 (when the sale ends), please let us know. K would LOVE to deliver them to you and selling to you will help her reach her goal. You can even order online and have them shipped to your house!

If you don't want cookies (or live too far away and don't want to pay shipping), you can send a donation, it will still help K reach her goal, and you will be sending cookies to members of our military who are serving overseas. They greatly appreciate all the donations!

Thank you SO much for your support!
