On Wednesday, 1st Grade had their Trimester Awards Assembly.
Mommy owes D.A. a giant THANK YOU b/c he covered her class that morning so she could be at e's school to attend his Awards Assembly.
Daddy owes Y. S. a big THANK YOU for taking his class so he could attend.
e had already had "pancakes with the principal", so we knew he was getting this award.
He was very excited to get his certificate - Student of the Month for October
e earned this one the old-fashioned way; he was at school every day and on time, NO sick days for him! - Perfect Attendance
e was very proud of this one for meeting or exceeding grade level standards in all areas - STAR Student!
Yes, e earned 3 awards. We are very proud parents and he is a very happy kid!!
On Friday (today), 3rd Grade had their Awards Assembly.
Mommy once again owes D.A. a huge THANK YOU for taking her class so she could attend.
Daddy says THANK YOU to L. C. for taking his so he could attend.
K earned this one the new-fangled way, through Saturday School.
She had 2 absences; one unexcused (for the Disneyland 5K) and one excused (sick), but we hauled her to Saturday School TWICE and made her make up the days, so she now is listed as 0 absences. Since she attends the school where Daddy works and Daddy has to be there 30 minutes before school starts, she also has 0 tardies - Perfect Attendance
This award was earned by exceeding grade level standards in all areas. Only 3 students in 3rd grade earned it; K was one of them! - Principal's Award
We are very proud parents and she is very happy with her awards!!
