We're pretty sure that we've put together Takara's back story.
She was raised from a tiny puppy in a home.
They let her curl up on the couch (that's been a tough one to break).
They had her climb in their laps, and she LIKED it.
When she got too big and needed training, they turned her out.
She was not a stray very long, probably less than a day, before being picked up by animal control because she is VERY people-oriented.
She still loves being a LAP DOG.
She doesn't understand that she is now MUCH bigger, Much heavier, and far too large to climb into our laps, so she climbs in anyway and tries to contort herself to fit onto our laps. It's rather funny to watch.
