Last November we happened to be at the EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival and we had a great time sampling foods from all over the world. So, when we heard about the California Food and Wine Festival at DCA, we made plans to attend. We were able to sample some really tasty foods. K got to enjoy a Junior Chef's activity with Chef Lily and Chef Goofy. She was so overwhelmed by the entire experience, but she also had a great time. On a side note, it's always a good idea to charge your li-ion battery for your camera before going to events like this. We could have gone full "foodie" by taking pictures of all the cool dishes they had at the FnWF, but after one shot, it turned out our camera died. It would have been nice to have brought the charger, too. Alas that was a fail. Luckily, our phones also have cameras in them.

DCA's Food and Wine Festival

K got to enjoy a Junior Chef's activity with Chef Lily and Chef Goofy. She was so overwhelmed by the entire experience, but she also had a great time.
