Feels like forever since I've gotten out to a Socalm run, but the weather was great and I'm so glad I made it. Here we are at the entrance gate of Joshua Tree National park.
We started in Redlands where this morning is was quite gloomy as if it were going to rain. Fortunately, the "marine layer" burned off or didn't extend out to the desert and we were graced with clear sunny skies.
The roads aren't what you'd call "twisty" but the vistas are spectacular and well worth the visit.
SOCALM is all about three things, people, places and food. The people are great, as always. The place was awesome, helped along by the weather. The food? Good food, but the service left something to be desired. 26 people about 12 checks, shouldn't take 45 minutes to sort out.
