Upgrade for Performance: This is officially my first upgrade to the ERACER that is not for maintenance or cosmetics. From start to finish it took about 90 minutes. The instructions are straight-forward and easy to follow. The pieces and the holes don't always match up so nicely. Some drilling / reaming was needed to complete the installation of the mounting bracket. It's much cleaner looking than the stock unit. This is a Racing Beat High Flow Intake with a K&N filter. It has a noticable intake growl under accelleration, but is less so at cruising. I don't know if it has added horsepower like the marketing boys at K&N and Racing Beat would have you believe, but I remain hopeful that at least I might realize some improved fuel economy.
